  • Currently: struggling freelance photojournalist
  • Past lives: private investigator, market research journalist, warehouse forklift operator, U.S. census taker, public school teacher

  • Personal: Born in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia. Lived in Tokyo in 1987 & 1988. Naturalized Californian since 1989. Currently live in Brisbane, California with my amazing wife and two insane cats. I am also a heart attack survivor.

  • Tokyo Panic Stories: a forthcoming series of photo books combining street photographs, poetry, journalism, and fictional narrative about homeless people, street drunks, and fringe characters in Tokyo, Japan, photographed and written between April, 2012 and November, 2015.
  • Glimpses of Brisbane, California: A book I’ll start compiling in late 2018 of street photography scenes in Brisbane, the small California town where I live just south of San Francisco.
